Microchipping

Micro-chipping will ensure your pet will always be identifiable if he/she ever goes missing. It gives you peace of mind.

It is a small chip, about the size of a grain of rice that is placed under the skin into the scruff at the back of the neck.

Each chip has its own unique number that you must then enter into a database, along with all of the relevant information about your pet, its breed, colour, sex etc, as well as your contact details.

All dog wardens, veterinary surgeons and animal rescue organisations have hand-held scanners that enable them to locate the chip and its unique number. This means pet owners can be traced from the database and a lost pet and his/her owner can be reunited.

It takes just a few minutes to put in the microchip.

Call today and make an appointment if your pet has not yet been micro-chipped.
